Bezelia Limited Warranty
What we cover if something goes wrong with how your piece was made.
Read this before you buy
This warranty is part of what you buy. Please read it before you approve your design; it is always on this page and linked in the confirmation email you get when you send your design request. Warranty and consumer laws differ between US states and Canadian provinces, and this warranty is given in addition to the rights your local law gives you.
Who and how long
This warranty is given by Bezelia Inc., Alberta, Canada to the person who bought the piece from us. It lasts 2 years from the day the piece is delivered.
What is covered
- Stones that come loose or fall out because of how they were set.
- Prongs, clasps, links or solder joints that break in normal wear.
- Flaws in the metal.
What is not covered
- Normal wear: scratches, and prongs or bands thinning over many years.
- The rhodium plating on white gold wearing away over time. We re-plate at cost.
- Damage from knocks, accidents, chemicals or misuse.
- Loss or theft. We recommend insuring your piece; your grading report and order confirmation are what an insurer will ask for.
- Damage caused by repairs or alterations made by another jeweller. Ask us first, and we'll tell you if it's safe.
- Normal wear shown in plain terms: prongs bent or snagged on clothing, stones lost because a worn prong wasn't re-tipped, scratches and dents.
What we will do
We repair your piece free of charge, or, if it can't be repaired, we make it again. If that design is no longer made, we make a similar piece with you, or refund what you paid.
How to make a claim
- with your order number, then reply to our email with a few photos or a short video of the problem.
- We reply within two business days. Often we can tell from the photos whether it's covered.
- If it is, we send you an insured shipping label at no cost. If it isn't, we quote the repair first, and do nothing until you say yes.
